FT3 Nexus — Operator Engagements

The strategy
behind your cross-border growth.

Most consultants hand you a deck. Most platforms hand you a portal. FT3 hands you operators — people who’ve sat in the seats at AmEx, Visa, and Worldpay, and built the network to actually move the work forward.

When the question is bigger than “how do we run payments” — when it’s how do we structure this expansion, how do we lift authorization rates and cut processing cost, which partnerships actually move the needle, how do we navigate this regulation without losing six months — that’s where FT3 Nexus comes in.

Operator engagements for SaaS, fintech, marketplaces, digital media, and platform businesses scaling across borders — including complex, high-volume, and regulated industries. Operator-led, backed by a network of specialists — one engagement, end to end.

The strategic third leg of the FT3 platform — alongside FT3 Launch and FT3 Pay.

The moments where
operator experience matters most.

Most decisions don't need an outside team. These do. When the stakes are high, the playbook isn't obvious, and the cost of getting it wrong runs into months or millions — that's when our operators step in.

Entering a new market

You're going into Brazil, Singapore, Mexico — or expanding from one of them into the US. Entity structure, banking strategy, local payment methods, regulatory posture. The decisions you make in week one shape what's possible in year one.

Lifting payment performance

Authorization rates flat. Processing cost creeping up. Checkout converting below where it should. You don't need another PSP demo — you need someone to look at the data, the routing, the partners, and tell you what's actually leaking revenue.

Navigating regulation

A new license requirement just changed. Your underwriter is asking questions you don't have answers for. A jurisdiction you operate in just shifted the rules. You need someone who's been on the regulator side of the table — not someone who Googled it.

Building distribution & partnerships

You have a product. The market is real. But the channels, partners, and distribution paths to scale aren't obvious. We map them with you — and where the right partner is in our network, we make the introduction.

Preparing for a capital event

Series B prep. M&A readiness. A new funding round where the board wants the international growth story locked. Operator-led work on the cross-border narrative, the structure, and the banking relationships that need to be real, not theoretical.

Building partnership strategy

You're a PSP, bank, or provider looking to grow your client base in a new corridor. We design the partnership map, identify the connections, and bring the network you'd otherwise spend years building.

Six areas where our operators
do the work with you.

Each engagement is led by an FT3 operator and backed by a network of vetted specialists — regulators, attorneys, accountants, market experts, banks, and acquirers — coordinated under one engagement, end to end.

Regulatory navigation
License strategy, regulator engagement, jurisdiction selection. We've sat on the other side of the table — we know what underwriters and regulators actually look for.
Compliance posture
KYB / KYC structure, AML, sanctions, cross-border data, tax nexus. We design the compliance story your regulator, bank, and board need to see.
Market entry experts
In-market operators in São Paulo, Singapore, Amsterdam, Mexico City and beyond. Not generalists — people who actually sell, distribute, hire, or build in those markets.
Sales & distribution strategy
Channel design, partner identification, GTM strategy for new markets. The mechanics of how revenue actually shows up once the entity is live and the rails are running.
Capital support
Fundraising readiness, M&A preparation, banking relationships for capital flows. Where licensed advice is needed, we coordinate with the right specialists under one engagement.
Payments optimization
Authorization rate uplift, processing cost reduction, checkout conversion, routing strategy, PSP negotiation, chargeback & dispute strategy. The numbers most teams know are off — we find where the revenue is leaking and stop it.

The difference is who's
actually in the room.

Most engagements give you a deck and a smile. Or a portal and a ticket queue. Neither solves the problem. Operators do.

We've sat in the seats
Twenty-plus years inside American Express, Visa, and Worldpay. When a CFO asks what the underwriter is looking for, we tell them — because we've been the underwriter.
We bring the network
Regulatory specialists, attorneys, accountants, market experts, banks, acquirers. Vetted, named, and ready. Coordinated under one engagement — not a list of people you should call.
We bridge strategy and execution
Strategy that stops at "go hire someone to do this" isn't strategy. Our work connects directly into FT3 Launch and FT3 Pay when execution starts. One team, end to end.
We're built for the messy work
SaaS, fintech, marketplaces, digital media, platforms — including complex, high-volume, and regulated industries. The engagements other firms don't take, we know how to work.

Two ways to work with us.
Both led by operators.

No bloated retainers. No SOW games. Every engagement starts with a discovery call where we tell you honestly whether we can help, what it would look like, and what it would cost — before any work begins.

Common questions
about FT3 Nexus.

Who is FT3 Nexus for?+
Founders, CFOs, and Heads of International at SaaS, fintech, marketplace, digital media, and platform businesses scaling across borders. Especially companies in complex, high-volume, or regulated industries where mainstream providers struggle to help.
Are you consultants?+
No — not in the McKinsey sense. We're operators. We've sat in the seats at AmEx, Visa, and Worldpay, and we lead engagements personally. We don't hand you a deck and disappear — our work connects directly into execution through FT3 Launch and FT3 Pay, plus a network of vetted specialists we bring in where needed.
How is this different from FT3 Launch and FT3 Pay?+
FT3 Launch handles the doorway in — entity setup, banking, compliance to get you operating in a new market. FT3 Pay handles the engine — cross-border payments, optimization, payouts. FT3 Nexus is the strategy layer that sits above both: deciding which markets, which structure, which partners, which payments approach, which capital path. The three work together by design.
What does a Led Engagement actually cost?+
Most Led Engagements land between $10,000 and $25,000 depending on scope — market complexity, number of jurisdictions, number of specialist domains involved. Simpler engagements can come in lower; multi-market or capital-event scopes can be higher. Every engagement is scoped and priced in writing before work begins. No surprises.
Do you give legal, tax, or financial advice?+
No. FT3 is not a law firm, accounting firm, or licensed financial advisor. Where licensed advice is required, we coordinate with the right licensed specialists — attorneys, CPAs, tax advisors, capital markets firms — under their own engagement terms. FT3 leads the engagement and orchestrates the work; licensed specialists deliver the licensed pieces.
What if I just want to ask questions?+
That's what the discovery call is for. No pitch deck, no commitment. You bring the situation, we tell you honestly whether we can help, what it would look like, and what it would cost. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so — and often point you to someone who is.
